Viewing the Default Home Page
After installing, if the default home page (Default.asp) for
your Web server does not have a link to the Release
Notes, you may have an old version of the default home
page. If so, please copy
\Inetpub\IISSamples\Default.asp to \Inetpub\Wwwroot
to see the new page.
Note Do
not copy the new default.asp file to \Inetpub\Wwwroot if
you have a custom Default.asp file, or you will overwrite
your file.
Installing IIS Symbols
If you need to debug IIS
and are asked by product support to install the IIS Symbols, you can download the symbols from the Microsoft support web site. Go to the
Microsoft Support Web Site
and search on the Product "Internet Information Server" and use the keyword
"Symbols" to locate the specific instructions.
